Another method to allow increase the lifespan of fresh cut flowers is to create your own apple cider vinegar, sugar and water mixture. Mix around 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons of sugar with the water in the container before adding the flowers in. Changing a new set of mixture everyday will extend your flowers' life!
3. Bleach and water
Bacteria growth will be inhibited and water will be less cloudy with the use of bleach. Add one drop bleach with a 1 litre pail of water or add 3 drops of bleach together with one teaspoon of sugar in a 1 litre pail of water.ย
